"The kids at our elementary school really enjoyed having Wayne and the group for a full day residency! They learned about the djembe and West African culture through rhythm and dance. Wayne's incredible drumming sounds, paired with Lara's captivating voice, and the rounded out sounds and support of Yael and Mike, educated and entertained students across multiple grade levels!
The students and staff gave amazing positive feedback, and we were very pleased with Wayne's curriculum and time management, getting through a day of hundreds of students in large groups, making each child feel special and successful, and showing them how amazing the West African musical culture is. Every child left with a smile on their face and a rhythm in their heart. Thank you for inspiring children in our school with your passion and love of what you do, Wayne. It was a fantastic day!"

"Wayne White & Doundounba literally brought the house down at my Community Hospice African AIDS Benefit at the Egg in Albany, New York. The show was wildly successful due in large part to Wayne and his amazing group. They are brilliant musicians and consummate professionals to work with. Thanks to Wayne and Doundounba, we raised over $30,000 that was sent directly to Zimbabwe and South Africa for food and medicine. If you want to put a show together like no other----look no further," Norman Rea, President REA Productions, LLC
